Private Chef Services

A Private Chef generally works with a single family, year-round. Many private chefs in Aspen work for individual families that are second homeowners, and are contracted year-round for their services, for the weeks or months that the client’s are living in their Aspen home. I like to call us Family Chefs, because truly, that’s what we are! A private chef usually is at the family home to prepare most, if not all meals, for the majority of each day; special luncheons & elegant dinner parties, and meal delivery to the office. The family chef also does the shopping, stocking the fridge with goodies and snacks, as well as kitchen staples, from nut milks to fresh-prepared fruits and vegetables. For larger parties and events, your chef will work with you for menu planning and hiring of full-service caterers, as well as over-seeing of the events that take place in your home, for seamless execution and peace of mind.

Private/Family Chef services include:

• Planning, preparation and serving of all home meals, in the client’s home
• Clearing & cleanup at the end of each meal
• Stocking refrigerator & pantry with kitchen staples, baked goods & pastries, snacks, homemade gelatos, goodies and meals-ready-to-cook (hand-tossed pizzas, pasta sauce, soups & stews, cookie dough…)
• Freshly made nut milks & cheeses, prepared fruits, crudites and healthy dips & spreads, charcuteries, salads and grains.
• Grocery shopping, daily menu planning with a focus on dietary restrictions, food preferences of the clients, and adequate nutrition.
• Menu planning, cooking, service & cleanup of parties and special events.
• Meal preparation and delivery to client’s offices/places of work
• Available to the client on request (someone has to be there to make the perfect cup of hot cocoa after a day of skiing!)
